Jewelry Inspired by Nature's Most Elegant Element: Flowers

Marcie Adary's jewelry is very obviously inspired by the wonders surrounding us: pure gemstones, color, and the beauty that is nature. But never before has Marcie's jewelry made your eyes focus to notice the quaint aspects of floral inspiration than in the pieces featured below. I have selected three floral-inspired pieces for their organic and eye-catching charm.

"Blossoms" features garnets of peridot, pink topaz, and Orissa red flowers encompassed by small orange spessartite rondelles. This beautiful necklace makes the eyes refocus to notice the playful gemstone flower petals emerging from the Argentium Silver circular pendant. The asymmetrically placed flowers give off an even more harmonious feel. "Blossoms" is sure to bring life to any outfit or bare neck.

These Pink Amethyst and Peridot Flower Earrings will dangle from your ears with a whimsical charm only second to freshly picked flowers. Marcie combines colors perfectly, pairing green peridot petals with lavender pink amethyst pear drops. The earrings are large enough to catch the attention of jewelry lovers everywhere. These Flower Earrings are also available in Orange Citrine and Kelly Green Alexandrite.

I have had my eye on this Pink Bouquet Necklace for a while now. I love how this piece mimics a flower vase so real you can imagine it life-sized and sitting on your kitchen table. The pink sapphire flowers in a beautiful faceted labradorite vase are so perfectly positioned to create a bouquet for your neck. This necklace is the perfect combination of eccentric pink and organic hues of blue, gray, and green.

Marcie Adary's Story

"My passion for making jewelry began over 20 years ago while working as a bench jeweler in the Adiran Jewelry Factory on Kibbutz Cabri in Northern Israel. During my three years at Adiran, I became familiar with the entire jewelry making process from creating wax models, to casting, soldering, finishing and polishing. I loved working in Adiran.

While living on Kibbutz Cabri I met my husband, Nadav. After returning to the United States, we married and I spent the next several years raising our three boys. However, jewelry making was never far from my mind. Over the years I slowly purchased the necessary equipment to cast gold rings at home in our garage. While searching for small diamonds and semi-precious stones for my gold rings at trade shows, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful array of semi-precious stone beads and pearls. I taught myself wire wrapping and began to sell at trunk shows, holiday boutiques and art galleries. Marcie Adary Jewelry Designs was born!"
